– OUR WORKSHOP EQUIPMENT HIRING SERVICES –

 

We understand that, when starting a new project or gaining new skills, people do not necessarily want to invest in buying the entire range of tools and machines needed.
That is why we give the possibility to our students of hiring our machines and workspace inside the studio.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SERVICE IS RESERVED FOR OUR STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED ON THE MACHINES.
 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

When hiring our facilities, we are happy to provide you with some assistance in case of problems with the machines, but you will have to be independent while practising/working.
We will not be able to assist you with your project.

 

AVAILABILITY:

Our workshop hiring service works on a pay as you go basis, without any subscription or extra fees and is available from a minimum of just two hours.
Machines and space are available to rent on weekdays from 9am to 6pm.

 

SPACE & EQUIPMENT:

The space is provided with three cutting tables and  industrial sewing machines and our leather selection can be purchased at a discounted price when renting our facilities (5% off all full priced leather).
Our studio is an intimate space where you can focus on your own work without any distraction. In fact, we only allow one visitor at a time (or max 2 people if you work in a team) and you would only be sharing the space with us.
You will be given the full use of a cutting table and will be able to use the machine(s) you need.

COST:

The rental is charged at £18 per hour and it includes the use of the machines and a cutting table. You will need to bring you own tools and materials.

 

AVAILABILITY:

Waiting time for renting usually varies from 3 to 5 weeks depending on how many hours are required and how busy we are during that time of the year.

 

HOW TO BOOK AND PAY:

You can book your session at our studio by emailing us, providing your full name, phone number and specifying how many hours you would like to rent a space for and what machines you will need to use.
We require the payment to be made upfront and we will generate an invoice for you after receiving the information specified above.

SEWING MACHINES AVAILABLE:

– 2x cylinder arm, walking foot industrial sewing machine, ideal for thick leather.
– 3x walking foot industrial sewing machine with adjustable speed motor, ideal for thicker fabrics and leather.
– 1x flatbed industrial sewing machine, perfect for light and medium weight fabric.
– 1x industrial skiving machine.
Each industrial machine is provided with a standard foot as well as right and left zip feet.
Please bring your threads and sewing equipment with you.

FACILITIES:

– Free parking right in front of our studio building.
– Bathroom, kitchenette with microwave, kettle and fridge.
– 3 cafes on site.
– Workshop and machines available to rent Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm.
