ABOUT THIS SERVICE
This service offers one-on-one meetings to discuss various aspects of your project, whether starting with just an idea or needing guidance to advance your project further.
We will listen to your objectives, assist in starting your brand, discuss ideas, and explain the design, prototyping and manufacturing aspects. During the consultancy meeting, we will assess your project, identify challenges, and plan the next steps for its development.
During the design and product development phase, we will define the technical aspects of your design to prepare it for pattern creation and prototyping.

WHAT SUBJECTS CAN BE DISCUSSED DURING THE CONSULTANCY MEETING?
The session will be 100% tailored to your needs, requirements and project stage. To give a few examples, it could focus on one or more of the following topics:
– Discussing a business idea
– Reviewing your project and identifying potential problems in developing, prototyping and manufacturing it
– Designing a single product or a collection
– Reviewing your already existing design and overcoming doubts and difficulties in its development
– Discussing colour palette, materials and fittings and advise you on the best choices for your project
– Understanding the pros and cons of working with leather, vegan leather or fabric
– Considering performance, sustainability and costs in the development of your project
– Understanding how prototyping and manufacturing work and what options you have

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING/HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE CONSULTANCY MEETING?
Remember to bring anything relevant to your project: previously made samples or samples of similar items, reference pictures, sketches, material samples, notes, etc.

WHAT IS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND WHY IS IMPORTANT?
Once the main aspects of your project are defined, we can shift our focus to individual designs. We will create sketches to clarify item specifications and may include mock-ups if necessary. In certain cases, we might present you with alternative solutions for critical areas, ensuring that your design(s) are clear and feasible.
Our product development service includes detailed hand sketches that include all design views, features, and measurements. These sketches are sufficient for effective communication with your manufacturer.
This service does not cover digital tech packs or factory sheets. However, if you require these additional documents, we can offer them as a separate service.
Product development is crucial as it helps you avoid costly mistakes when communicating with manufacturers, ensuring that your designs are feasible. It also spares you from dealing with lengthy and exhausting attempts to advance your project when you’re uncertain about industry practices and the necessary steps for a smooth process.

HOW MANY HOURS WILL I NEED TO PURCHASE?
It depends on your specific project. Contact us, and we’ll provide guidance on the appropriate number of hours to buy.

MEETING ARRANGEMENTS
Available days: Monday to Friday and selected Sundays (please note that the availability for Sundays is very limited and therefore the waiting time to book a slot for these days is generally longer)
Available time slots: During our working hours
Time slot length: Slots are available for 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours in a row.
Our availability: We are generally able to book you in for your sessions around two-three weeks from when you have purchased the consultation.
Of course, we will always try to accommodate your needs and book you in the closest time possible.

PRICING:
– The first two hours are charged at £54/hour on weekdays.
– Hours from the 3rd to the 8th are charged at £38/hour on weekdays.
– The following hours are charged at £34/hour on weekdays.

Sunday sessions are charged an additional 30%.

*If you choose to continue working with us, we will deduct 25% of this service’s cost from the price of prototyping your design(s).
