This is the first module of our leather working courses and bag making classes series.
In this module, you will be introduced to the different types of leather and learn how to select the best leather for specific projects.
You will be taught the correct use of leather working tools and the main leatherworking techniques.
You will learn how to inspect leather skins and discover the best ways to position patterns to make the most of the material.
We will cover techniques for marking, cutting and skiving leather using various tools, as well as leather beveling, creasing and glueing methods.
Additionally, you will learn how to reinforce leather and how to sharpen your leatherworking tools.
