DESIGN & CONSULTANCY – Initial Consultation

ABOUT THIS SERVICE
This service is a one-on-one consultation during which we can discuss different aspects of your project as well as the difficulties you may be facing in developing it.
We can assist you with a completely bespoke service whether you are at the early stages and only have an idea/inspiration or if you just need guidance in taking your project to the next step.
During our meeting(s), we will listen to your objectives, assist in starting your brand, discuss your ideas and explain how to deal with different aspects of designing, prototyping and manufacturing a product or a collection.
The aim is to asses your project, identify its challenges and establish the next steps necessary for its development.

 

WHAT SUBJECTS CAN BE DISCUSSED DURING THE CONSULTATION?
The consultation could for example be focused on one or more of the following topics:
– Discussing a business idea
– Reviewing your project and identifying potential problems in developing, prototyping and  manufacturing it
– Designing a single product or a collection
– Reviewing your already existing design and overcoming doubts and difficulties in its development
– Discussing colour palette, materials and fittings and advise you on the best choices for your project
– Understanding pros and cons of working with leather, vegan leather or fabric
– Considering performance, sustainability and costs in the development of your project
– Understanding how prototyping and manufacturing work and what options you have
These are only some examples; the session will be 100% tailored to your needs, requirements and the stage of your project.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING/HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE SESSION?
To get the most out of the meeting, don’t forget to bring anything relevant to your project: previously made samples or samples of similar items, reference pictures, sketches, material samples, notes etc.

 

MEETING ARRANGEMENTS
Available days: Monday to Friday and selected Sundays (please note that the availability for Sundays is very limited and therefore the waiting time to book a slot for these days is generally longer)
Available time slots: During our working hours
Time slot length: Slots are available for 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours in a row.
Our availability: We are generally able to book you in for your sessions around two-three weeks from when you have purchased the consultation.
Of course, we will always try to accommodate your needs and book you in the closest time possible.

The first two hours are charged at £54/hour (weekdays)
Following hours are charged at £36/hour (weekdays)
Sunday sessions are charged 30% extra
*If you choose to continue working with us, we will deduct the first two hours from the cost of prototyping your design(s).
