I cannot recommend the London Leather Workshop enough! I booked a private session to craft a card wallet for my wife. She had given me a number of different elements from different designs she had liked and Sara was able to help turn my rough and poorly defined vision into a beautiful reality. I'm incredibly impressed with how quickly Sara was able to create paper prototypes for what turned out to be a very complicated design. Sara also did an excellent job of providing a number of training exercises to practice using the sewing machine before I began work on the real product. Brilliant morning spent at Sara and Melissa’s atelier. Sara was great at explaining the techniques and methods and then gave enough space for us to practice them on some scrap pieces, but was there and attentive to any questions we had. I attended 2 courses with The London Leather Workshop, designing a leather bag collection and professional leather craft skills. The two courses were absolutely amazing, Sara and Melissa's expertise is invaluable. the teaching is approachable, practical and technical. I feel that I have learnt so much already and can start implementing more fine tuned skills into my own work. Sara shared her expertise in how to treat / work with different leathers, I feel these courses have really opened up Pandora's box.
